Sascha is a friendly approachable consultant. She makes you feel like you are her only and most important patient. Her listening skills are exemplary and she takes the time to reflect and check everything has been understood.
Sascha is surrounded by a team of committed experts who provide 24/7 support. Any worries or concerns are taken seriously encouraging you to raise and share questions and concerns.
I have complete confidence in her medical skills and yet also feel able to confide in her as a good friend.
My husband and I were able to negotiate this difficult and emotional path with Sascha and her team smoothing the way and helping us take one step at a time. I would not wanted have taken this journey with anyone else.

Her bedside manner put me at ease immediately. Took the time to explain everything in plain language using diagrams when necessary. Answered all my questions honestly which I appreciated. Encouraged me to be positive when things were difficult.

My wife is suffering from Breast Cancer. She has now had a lumpectomy operation carried out by Miss Dua. She also had a breast reduction at the same time.
At her clinics she has been informative, helpful and sympathetic.
The operations were a complete success and Miss Dua kept us informed of everything during the whole process from admittance to discharge.
My wife feels she owes her life to Miss Dua and we will never forget her kindness over and above the call of duty.
We are now embarking on a course of Chemotherapy and it was explained to my wife so well, she is actually now not afraid.

Sascha Dua FRCS MD is a Consultant Breast Surgeon with specialist training in Oncoplastics, Breast reconstruction and a further higher specialism in cosmetics. Sascha went to medical school at Guys and St Thomas's (University of London) and undertook her higher surgical training at leading centres including 4 years at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she won a scholarship to undertake a doctorate as the first surgical scientist at the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre, reknowned for its work on the BRCA2 gene and cancer genetics. Sascha was awarded the prestigious Raven Prize in Academic surgery for research in 2007, and has been a specialised breast consultant since 2011 in Mid Essex Hospitals Trust.
